Contra Nocendi uses a partner-led approach whereby we work in collaboration with local human rights lawyers, professionals and experts to ensure that each peacebuilding project is focused on results which are relevant to the individual context of each country that we work within.
Current projects include:
- Contra Nocendi International collaborates with our section in Cameroon to monitoring conditions in detention and to provide a law clinic in the city of Buea in the Southwest region of Cameroon.
- Human rights monitoring with local NGOs in Burundi
- Our international legal team engages human rights bodies at the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights and at UN level to support victims of human rights abuses.
